Compass Care Group 365 ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email, phone, password (hashed).
• Caregiver profile information: business name, bio, location, service area, profile photo, credential documents.
• Family inquiry information: name, email, phone, and the message you submit when contacting a Caregiver.
• Payment information: handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
• Usage data: pages viewed, actions taken, device/browser metadata.

2. How We Use It

• To operate the Service and provide the marketplace + incubator features.
• To deliver lead notifications to Caregivers and confirmations to Families.
• To verify Caregiver credentials and maintain trust badges.
• To process payments via Stripe.
• To improve product performance and prevent abuse.
• To send account-related emails (we do not send marketing without opt-in).

3. Sharing

• When a Family submits an inquiry, we share their contact details with the chosen Caregiver so the Caregiver can respond.
• We share data with service providers (Supabase, Stripe, Resend) under contract.
• We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations.
• We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and lead data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the CCPA and GDPR where applicable), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. To exercise these rights, email admin@compasscaregroup365.com.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption, hashed passwords, row-level security on our database, and least-privilege access controls. No system is 100% secure; you use the Service at your own risk.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can disable non-essential cookies via your browser settings.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will note the "Last updated" date at the top.
